SEIUHCWI Meriter Nurses celebrated nurses during Nurses Week 2022

May 10, 2022

Meriter Nurses celebrated with their community by hosting a blood drive at the the Madison Labor Temple. Our union nurses at Meriter are in solidarity with the American Red Cross workers of AFSCME Locals 1558 & 1205 who worked the 2-day blood drive, and are currently in the midst of contract negotiations! . In addition to our Meriter Nurses Council organizing this delicious food truck below to kick off Nurses Week, UNION CAB COOPERATIVE OF MADISON not only lent their taxi stand, the UNION CAB BOARD passed unanimously a resolution in support of frontline nurses at Meriter Hospital and UW Hospital for NURSES WEEK 2022!
